Fri, Sat, and Sunday runs pretty much were lousy runs due to the accumulated leg fatigue. I was hoping the Sunday run would improve, but it stayed pretty lousy and just got worse despite the short 14 mile distance. Legs were just dead.
My sore left patella where the quad tendon attaches remains pretty sore, which is a bit alarming even though it hasn't been limiting whatsoever on runs, but is tender if I press on it. I'm going to cut back the mileage next week from this peak to let the legs and tendons recover, and hopefully I'll be able to run a good 10k next Sat as an estimate of my race day pace.
Fri: 7mi AM + 8 mi PM = 15 mi
Sat: 7 mi AM + 4 mi PM = 11 mi
Sun: 14 mi, 8:30/mi
