Mon - 4 mi AM, 3 mi PM recovery
Tue - 7 mi AM Recovery, 6 x 800 speed PM total 6 mi TM
Wed - 4AM, 3 PM recovery
Thu - Spartan Turkey Trot in 18:57, then 7 mi PM
Fri - 5 mi AM, 4 mi PM recovery
Sat - 10 mi easy
Sun - 12 mi long (11 @ long run pace)
This was a week where worrying about a stress reaction in my right foot made me run a lot of treadmill miles. Fortunately, the treadmilling and careful steps seemed to not worsen things, and by Sunday, the long run went uneventfully in terms of foot pain although I still have a very mild dull ache there that I'm hoping will improve with a slight mileage cutback next week.
Planning for 60 miles next week to let my foot catch up to the 70 mile per week stress, will throw in some cycling and even maybe a swim session to mix it up.
